Cloud series, 2016 (Floating…Still and Types of clouds)
: RePaper exhibition, TCDC, Bangkok

Experimented with mixing different-sized recycled paper strips, which are fragile as well as easily torn and disintegrated by water, with different kinds of textile materials to enhance the paper’s strength and create an interesting new texture.

To make freeform-shape textile paper, a customized deckle has been used in this handmade paper making process. The colors and textures show how the paper pulp floated around the bath. The paper has been sewed together with transparent fabric to create a light and opaque interior decoration item with unique textures. Light and shadow plays an important role with this piece.
